Micardis 必康平 化学名称为:4'-[(1,4'-二甲基-2'-丙基[2,6'-二-1H-苯并咪唑]-1'-基)甲基]-[1,1'-二联苯基]-2-羧酸。
臨床用途:心臟血管疾病 副作用:少見:神經質,疲倦或虛弱,發燒,頭痛,耳朵紅腫、痛,鼻塞,流鼻水,打噴嚏,口乾,咳嗽,喉嚨痛,腹痛,腹脹,心灼熱,噁心、嘔吐,食慾改變,腹瀉,肌肉痛、痙攣,背痛,皮膚紅疹,排尿困難或疼痛,流汗增多 注意事項: 服藥後,請勿開車或操作危險機械及從事需要集中注意力的工作。 使用本藥可能出現短暫性眩暈,當平躺坐起或起身站立時,宜放慢動作。 服藥期間避免激烈運動或處於過熱場所。

使用此藥時該注意什麼? 可能發生暈眩、及頭昏眼花等現象請小心開(騎)車或操作機器。 在從事活動或長時間暴露在太熱的環境時,要適量的補充水分,來預防因體液減少所導致的脫水或低血壓。 若您覺得病況改善,請與醫師討論是否可慢慢調降劑量,切勿自行突然停藥。 服用此藥期間如需服用其它藥品時,請主動告訴您的醫師或藥師。 請將本劑連同藥袋放置於室溫之陰涼乾燥處避光儲存,請勿冷藏或冷凍。請勿放在孩童可以取得的場所。
此藥可能引起的副作用及處理方式: 若症狀持續數日或嚴重時,請停藥並立即就醫或與醫師連絡。 常見的副作用:噁心、腹痛、腹脹、胃酸逆流或心灼熱感、食慾改變、頭痛、背痛、腹瀉、口乾、手或腳腫脹、疲勞、喉嚨刺痛、鼻塞、上呼道感染(咳嗽、耳朶疼痛、發燒、頭痛、鼻塞、流鼻水等)、肌肉疼痛或痙攣等。 當您發生下列症狀時,請與您的醫師聯絡:皮膚起紅疹或癢等過敏現象、心跳變快、低血壓、暈眩、頭昏眼花、昏暈、視力模糊等。
忘記服藥時該怎麼辦: 若忘記服藥,則於想起時儘快服用;如果一天服藥超過兩次以上,若距離下次服藥時間少於4小時,則不需要補服,按原時間服用即可,切勿一次服用兩倍劑量。

What is Micardis? Micardis (telmisartan) is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by decreasing certain chemicals in the body that cause blood vessels to constrict and sodium and fluid to be stored by the kidneys.
Micardis is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is sometimes given together with other blood pressure medications.
Micardis is also used to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, or death from heart problems in people who are at least 55 years old with risk factors for serious heart disorders.
Micardis may also be used for other purposes not listed here.

Important information about Micardis Do not use Micardis if you are pregnant. Telmisartan may cause injury and even death to the unborn baby if you take it during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Use an effective form of birth control. Stop using Micardis and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment. You should not use this medication if you are allergic to telmisartan. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effects of Micardis. Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes while you are taking Micardis, unless your doctor has told you to.
To be sure Micardis is helping your condition, your blood pressure will need to be checked on a regular basis. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.
If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using this medication even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms.
In rare cases, Micardis can cause a condition that results in the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to kidney failure. Call your doctor right away if you have muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness especially if you also have fever, nausea or vomiting, and dark colored urine.

Before taking Micardis You should not use Micardis if you are allergic to telmisartan.
If you have any of these other conditions, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely use Micardis: kidney disease; liver disease; congestive heart failure; or if you are dehydrated.
FDA pregnancy category D. Do not use Micardis if you are pregnant. Micardis may cause injury and even death to the unborn baby if you take it during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Use an effective form of birth control. Stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether telmisartan passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

How should I take Micardis? Take Micardis exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label.
Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results from this medication.
You may take Micardis with or without food.
To be sure Micardis is helping your condition, your blood pressure will need to be checked on a regular basis. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.
It may take 2 to 4 weeks of using this medicine before your blood pressure is under control. For best results, keep using the medication as directed. Talk with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks of treatment.
If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using Micardis even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medication for the rest of your life.
Store Micardis at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

What happens if I miss a dose? Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose? Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine.
Overdose symptoms may include fast or slow heartbeat, dizziness, or feeling like you might pass out.

What should I avoid while taking Micardis? Avoid drinking alcohol. It can lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effects of Micardis. Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes while you are taking Micardis, unless your doctor has told you to.
Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.

Micardis side effects Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. In rare cases, Micardis can cause a condition that results in the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to kidney failure. Call your doctor right away if you have muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness especially if you also have fever, nausea or vomiting, and dark colored urine.
Call your doctor at once if you have any other serious side effects such as: feeling like you might pass out; painful or difficult urination; chest pain; feeling short of breath, even with mild exertion; or swelling in your hands or feet.
Less serious Micardis side effects may include: runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, cough; back pain; stomach pain, diarrhea; headache, dizziness; tired feeling; weakness; or increased sweating.

What other drugs will affect Micardis? Before taking Micardis, tell your doctor if you are using any of the following drugs: a diuretic (water pill); or digoxin (digitalis, Lanoxin).

This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.
